Hi,

I am try ing without much success to get the RF loop to work on my strong so I can watch a channel through my TV whilst I record another channel on the STB,

The manual does not really explain how to do this properly, can someone help with what I have to do?

As the Strong only has 1 tuner you can only watch analogue whilst digital is recording, though you can playback previously recorded digital whilst recording.

Strong loop out to TV antenna in, press Strong remote button to activate pass-through, switch TV to whatever analogue station you want to watch.

Cheers,

David.

So I connect the cord to the RF Loop at the back of the STB and and other end to the TV input on the TV?

There are 2 spare sockets at tyhe back of the STB, RF Loop & RF out, which one?

Also do you know which button on the remote has to be pressed?

cheers

tyk23, I have a plain english supplement for the strong 5390 that I can email you if you PM me your email address. Much clearer than the original manual!
