Hi,

My parents have a 68cm 4:3 Panasonic tv that's 2 years old.
, a basic one, made in australia I think.

Over the past month it's developed horizontal stripes across the picture that won't go away. They are there on every feed ie: DVD in via s.video, foxtel etc.
These stripes look like a pin stripe suit, spaced about a centimetre and 1/2
apart.
Have moved around all of the cables at the rear thinking RF interference
but nothing works. TV is on nearly 20 hours a day they never turn the thing off and my old man falls asleep in front of it.

It obviously needs fixing, anybody know what the pinstripes are.
