This new HDMI DVD player looks VERY interesting (found it on eBay). Specs are very impressive! HDMI interface, upscale p'b ack to 1080p/1080i/720p and DOESN'T have HDCP!! Don't know about Macrovision though, maybe it has that too. The ad claims that it plays everything.

Cost $350 landed in Oz.

I'm VERY interested in this unit, but have read about warranty problems other Forum members have had with NeuNeo.

Your thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

That 1080p upscaling is a bold statement for any DVD manufacturer to make. I'd like to see that in action first before I committed to purchase (assuming this feature was the deal breaker)

Just read specs more closely. Upscaling 1080p is only thru component -NOT HDMI

And probably 60Hz
