I would like to know if it is possible to edit channels on my Topfield 5000PVRt. YOu see I have 3 SBS signals all showing up as SBS Digital (Local UHF, Illawarra UHF and UHF 49 - mittagong?). One is just on cliff edge so I woud not rather accidently use it for a recording. Do I just need to wipe everthing out and do it all manually? I would assume that is the best way. Or can I delete a frequency from the list. How is it done? Can you rename channels? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yep read that. But more specifically there is some places where a favs list does not help. eg. PIP. The list is the full list - I have to choose from 3 SBS Digital - carefully looking at the physical channels.

Anyhow I have now ditched a splitte and the UHF 49 signal is well into green so it does not really matter now. Buit if anyone has any more specific pointers it would be good.

If you press the OK key, then select the channel from the list.

- Press Red to bring up the Options dialog box
- Select Rename
- Rename the Channel to what you want

Hope this is what you're after.

I am in a similar situation in that I get 2 of every channel (Tuggeranong Hill and Black Mt). I have set up 2 favourites listings, one for each transmitter, so I only view the channels from my local transmitter and have the other as a back-up.
