New to the market in a couple of weeks i have been told for $599, twin tuner. 80gb hard drive. I havn't heard of this brand much before and particular this model. Any comparable boxes for smae price...ish?

DGtec had an appalling reputation with some of their early STBs (search the forums if you want to get an idea of just how bad), and I'm certain that adding a HDD to one of their existing tuners is going to make things less reliable. Unless you enjoy a challenge, I'd wait and see on this one...

We would hope Dodgytec have learnt from their earlier mistakes and have made major improvements. Time will tell, but I wouldn't volunteer to pay for the privilige to test one.
