What are the aspect ratios of the titles?
Are you using a HTPC or a stand alone player? I assume a HTPC...

How do you have the HTPC hooked up to your monitor/display?
What sort of monitor are you using (4x3 or 16x9)?
What sort of video card are you using?
What resolution is it set to?

all good it's fine seems 
it was just the one dvd I think is HD quality better then dvd quality btw ?
