Recently been lamenting about the fact that all my gear needs updating.
Why has no one released a Combo PVR 200Gb & DVD-/+RW Recorder yet?

because they don't "Have to"
while people still buy the "seperate package solution" there is no need and they make more money - then someone finally makes the move and release a combo package the flood gates will open, and new users will buy and cashed up previous buyers will "upgrade" and once again they make more money, there are also copyright issues
