I have a spare LCD monitor that I want to convert to receive digital TV. It only has VGA analog input port.

I don;t really want to fork out the money for a HD set top box. Does anyone know how I can get a SD box to interface? If I find one with component output, will it interface to VGA?

Thanks

There are VGA to 3x RCA video leads but I think they're used for connecting VGA outputs to component inputs.

The only SD STB I know that has VGA output is the Avermedia which costs around $200:

IMHO, your best bet is to get a cheap, $300-$350 HD STB with a VGA output.
