Day 3 of my Plasma hunting so far LG PX11 $2850 NEC SD with stand $3250
Went to HN ,LG was beside the NEC much better pic on the LG running through ST Box, anyone seen a better price on the NEC than $3250 also interested in comments on the Hitachi , saw them for $3495 without a crunch is the extra $400 for the NEC worth it over the LG

Thanks heaps , Im going to Ehome in the next couple of days , from what I hear they have an NEC set up the way it should be and looks good, the NEc will be what I buy and will be buying from someone who will be able to provide good back up service and advice, HN were not very helpful, can anyone suggest a DVD player under $400 to go with the Plasma, I have a Toshiba SD1200 which I will connect in another room , thanks for your advice.

Best place on earth to go if you want to see a display setup the way it should be, I would be sticking with the NEC I am not really sure why the LG looked better at HN might have something to do with rebates

Funny you say that about the HN display , it did cross my mind that if you were getting more money back from LG why would you want to put a superior product beside it which may steer buyers away. Thanks again for your replys any advice on what is a good DVD player to go with the NEC .

I have tried the Momitsu V880N , Denon DVB900 , Denon 2900, Denon 2800, Denon 2800 mk11, Denon 2910 , Denon 3910 and a Lexicon.
all look great due will have to say The momitsu is a great buy considering its feature and PQ but if overall PQ is what you are after i would go the Denon 2900
If you are after an NEC deal you should check out the following;
NEC Plasma Madness $2975 delivered
If you can't access this, try, look under plasma specials
Although you have to pay some extra for the stand and speakers it is still a very good deal. Also make sure you tell him that Naarn recommended this as I was bagging him about another deal he had going....
