Does any kind person in the universe have a copy of Battlestar Galctica from last week. I was away for a week and my timer died (yes, I've now searched and found the fix - a little too late unfortunately).

Sorry, can't help but I've been burnt before and so I invested in a UPS...only $175 and great piece of mind. Most outages here just for a few seconds so it doesn't need a huge unit, plus a toppy only draws 22 watts.

Cheers, Cliff

Ive got a analogue dvd recorder (4:3) capture of last weeks Battlestar & some murder show before it.

Edit: Sorry, on checking the dvd+rw it was overwritten over the weekend sad.gif

No worries - thanks anyway

Yeah... I still have it in the topfield .rec format. I'll have a look and see if it will fit on a DVD-R.

Do you or anyone else have a copy of the first 3 episodes. I was on holidays when it started. I would like the original .rec format because they still have the subtitles.

No - HD is too full to keep watched episodes, but I found most of them on exeem (which is like bittorrent). Thus, you can hold off on that DVD-R (thanks heaps though) - I'm almost done dowloading it, though admittedly I don't know how good it will be...

Sorry, can't help with rec but I have them in vobs (no subs) that fit 2 episodes per DVD (little compression). PM me if you're interested.

Maybe! I missed last week (Episode 1.06 i think?) due to a glitch as well, but someone i contacted thru this forum mailed me a copy on disk. unfortunately, it hasn't turned up yet and is way overdue (should have got here Monday, Tuesday at the latest). I think this means that he may have sent it to my work address rather than the home address i gave him - which means it may take a little while to get thru our internal mail system - if at all (it's possible he sent it to some wrong address sad.gif sad.gif ). If it does turn up i will check if you are still after it. Keep my email address in any event if you like (wisca@optusnet.com.au), cause i record BG regularly and am happy to help out if u miss an episode.

By the way, did you get Episode 1.04? I missed that as well and would be happy to send you a disk and a return postage to mail me a copy if you still have it.
