Just bought my new Philips plasma and are having problems how to connect it to my Topfield SD STB...for the life of me I cannot work out the correct connection/cables to use and to which AV connection....can anybody help?

The book/manual says to use the AV3 connection but I cannot work out which cable to use. The STB has a scart connection for TV and another for VCR/DVD and another which has the normal yellow, white & red pin type connections.

I have used the AV1 connection to connect my Pioneer DVD Recorder which works ok....

thanks in advance sad.gif

I dont know specifics about these models, but you should get a SCART to component adapater, plug that into your STB and plug it into the component inputs on your plasma to get the best picture. You may have to set the SCART output on your STB to 'component' or something like that, so it outputs a component signal through the SCART port.
