Time for Service. My Samsung RPTV is being overhauled to correct yellow hue caused by filters failing. The display is 10 months old.

Anyone else experiencing issues - I'd like to see your post under this thread.

Yep - had the same problem with SP50L2H LCD Rear Pro. See the following for more on my rearpro problem.

Interestingly, it was about 10 months old as well when it happened to me. The optic engine was replaced. Service guy reckoned that there have been "quite a few" service calls on the optic engines for these models. The part # of the new engine is different to old one so hopefully they've fixed something.

Also it appears the LG LCD Rear Pros have the same probs. See the tail end of this thread...

Ah okay. Looks like it some sort of optical engine revision 2 replacement that with stands heat build up much better.

My Samsung is placed in an air conditioned environment as well. Makes you wonder just how well the orignal manufactured item was tested before going to market.
