I understand that for certain models or maybe all models of all plasmas that one can find out how many hours the plasma has been used. It would be good if all of you in the know could possibly put in this thread how one can find that out for each plasma. I certainly would like to find out how with the Hitachi PD7800, the Pioneer 435 and the NEC XM3W

To see the number of hours used on a Pioneer MXE1:

1. Press the Display button on the remote
2. Press the button again and hold for a few seconds.

This will show a number of things like the serial number as well as the Hour Meter.

This may work on a Pioneer 434 & 435 but I'm not sure.
