Try them out then. If they don't do anything, then they aren't used on that box.

Some manufractors have the same remotes for different boxes to save costs.

I can help here. I've been considering buying a Nextwave 3190 and downloaded the manual in pdf format from their website. The link is...
http://nextwave-digital.com/assets/pdf/319...ual-display.pdf

Quoting from page 9 which details the buttons on the remote. "F2 No function at this stage."

Regards,

Could someone tell me if this model makes popping/scratching noises when you get impulse noise interference?

Hi Ikari

You have now asked this question so many times that I think you would be better off making an effort to get rid of the interference rather than finding a box that can handle it.

I own a Topfield and do not know, or care, whether the Topfield is immune from the problem or I have clean power supply as this problem simply does not happen to me. I listen through both the audio out or SPDIF (depending on the program)connections.

hehe, ok. I'm about to go and buy the 3200 so I was just trying to get as much info as I could. Fixing the impulse noise problem is too expensive!

Cheers
