Hi

Am thinking of getting a SD STB to fix a poor reception problem. Other than radio rentals, anyone know of somewhere in Wollongong/Sydney I can rent one from?

cheers

I wouldnt bother renting one. They are cheap to buy. Experiment with a cheap box for around $150. If you like it and get into it, then buy a better one with the features you prefer and put the cheapie in a spare room.

Without stating the bleeding obvious

But just buy one from Dick Smith. If it doesn't work they have a no questions asked return policy

There are other stores that to the same as well. JB, Myer etc

Fair enough comments, but the reason I ask is that my employer will pay the cost of renting smile.gif

So I would be crazy to buy one, even though they are getting inexpensive.

I'd really like a Toppy PVR but can't find anywhere to rent one ??

He said buy from Tandy/Dick Smith or any other shop that offers a 14 day money back refund no questions ask.

Thats better than renting, thats getting a brand new unit to try out for the cost of nothing.
