Not really on topic but various tech members might be interested. Dell are having a sale (ends Thursday) on a few items. Good discounts. The list is here. Personally I was interested in the well regarded 24" 16:10 monitor for $280 delivered.

Note this monitor doesn't have HDMI inputs.

I can vouch for the quality of the 27" Dell, very nice monitor and it does have a HDMI input.
It seems odd that the 24" does not have HDMI but DVI is comparable with HDMI so all you need is an adapter or HDMI to DVI cable.
