Hi all,

Unfortunately I just had a TV die and want to buy a 50" plasma to replace it. It will be used mainly for HTPC / blu-ray, in a fairly bright room.

There is hardly any stock around but I've sourced these prices:

51D6900 $970 (HN)
- Looks better (colour, bezel etc)
- 1" extra
- More featured (but I don't care)

50ST30 $970 (HN)
- Better light filtering
- Possibly better panel (colour reproduction, blacks etc)
- Possibly better warranty service

To be honest it's really the better looks of the Sammy vs the better Light filter/blacks of the Panny.

I'm leaning toward the Pana as a safer option, but i really like the D6900's looks.

Anyone want to convince me either way?
