anyone else looking forward to this ?

looks like april 25th release here,

http://www.ezydvd.co...-ray/dp/6110609

being underwhelmed with 3D in the commerical theatres and given its not being shown at imax in melbourne not bothered to go see it. so yes very much looking forward to see what its like on the home system when it comes out.

huge tintin fan, and this one has had a very good reception from all who have spoken to who have seen it. so one for me to look out for :)

Looks like fun with the actors well chosen for the voicing and motion capture ;

I watched the 2D version and a couple of times I thought to myself that scene was in there simply to demo 3D - I imagine it will be reference material.
I really enjoyed the film more than I thought I would and after the first 10 minutes I forgot that it was animation.
The pace reminded me of old Indiana Jones movies - a great family film.

Hugo 3D arrived and Immortal 3D on its way with TinTin supposedly being released on the 13th March. So far Hugo and Immortal has cost me less than $30 for each including postage from Amazon US. At those prices I don’t mind waiting. . .

If you go for both Al consider amazon uk .Hugo 3d after the exchange rate is about $8 cheaper .The difference is an extra dvd + digital copy for the US one ;nice markup :pirate: ..

I like to reconcile the free shipping loss with buying when the exchange rate /aus dollar is up Al ; take the vat off and it more than compensates :)

I just threw in Despicable me with hugo and tintin and just got it before the pre orders ; 13 quid brings them all to around $20 each .Got captain america for 18 quid and threw in drive angry 3d  to bring the price right down ; got to pick and choose though drive angry is $26 from the US :no:
