My hat comes of to Yorac and others who selflessly organise and co-ordinate these GB.

Sharpness was like a razor. Also had a look at the Billy Joel concert in the baseball stadium in 2d and it just blew me away.
If the 6000 looks this good just wondering what a treat most people will be in with the 9000. The 3d cfi didn't seem to be an issue in the material I viewed. I suppose next years 9000 replacement will probably have the 3d features the 7000 Pana does. Hmm maybe ?

I only just signed up and not able to pm you.
I am interested in this, i was actually contemplating buying the 6000 but if the price is right I would be dead keen.
do you guys think there will be significant improvements in the 9000 over 6000?

I am undecided still on which one I prefer it was the tw9000w then read the reviews on the Pana AE7000.
Has any one seen where the stats are on projector distance placement For these 2 projectors vers screen size.
I think it was a minimum of 4.2mts to lense from screen for a 120 inch screen for the AE7000 or was that the TW9000W?

Are you speaking 120" 16:9 or scope?
They both appear to be about 3.6metres for 16:9 120" and 3.8 metres for 120" scope

No these modes will vertically or horizontally stretch the image for use with an external anamorphic lens.
Lens memory will zoom and focus for you for a scope image - the black bars will still be there but projecting onto the wall outside of a scope screen. The epson does not have this as the lens zoom/focus are not motorized.

I will be happy with that!
So it's the TW9000W.
Re: the projector placement from memory I thought it was 120inch 16:9 at minimum 4.2mtrs but not sure which unit that was.
That's ok 3.6 or 3.8 for scope. I have 4.5 to my back wall
enough for access and cooling even though the venting is out the front isn't it.

Thanks for the info, it would have been great if this Epson had that feature. I think I might just go the Panasonic after all.

Hmm i thought that because of the inbuilt modes you wouldn't need to slide the lens out of the way and hence not have to refocus when watching 16:9 material?

I dont know if that is true,
after reading this link: http://ht3d.blogspot...-eh-tw9000.html
I bel it can do 2.35:1 anamorphic viewing without an external processor, and has memory function to save different Aspect Modes???

Aspect modes such as vertical stretch or horizontal squeeze have nothing to do with lens memory - these are for use with an external a-lens.
Lens memory involves motorized zoom and focus to zoom in to fill a scope screen or zoom out to fill 16:9. The "memory" is saving those physical lens settings to fill a scope screen. As the epson does NOT have a motorized lens how can it have lens memory?
