Hi Yorac,

I am interested in joining the GB for TW9000 (or even TW8000) also.

Seeing that the GB closes on 3rd of March, if I commit to the GB now, would we still be qualified for the Star Wars Blu-Ray Box set promotion (as it finishes on 29 Feb 12)?

If you could confirm and advise that would be great.

Will have to sit tight and wait for some time before I can use her properly, not moving in to the new place for a few weeks yet, reno's taking their sweet old time.. patiences not a strong point for me lol!

make sure you do fire it up and test it. if possible give it a good thrashing as in the first 2 weeks you have a DOA warranty. you dont want to find out in a "few weeks" time untested that you finally fire it up to find some out of box or early use issue !

Definitely good advice. DOA would result in a new PJ shipped out otherwise finding a  fault after 2 weeks it is of to repairs.

Friday night at the movies.. "The Dark Knight" via Wireless HDMI. Smooth process only two minor Hiccups (stutter of around 1 second each time) during the stream, will watch another tomorrow I think to double check everything, just projecting against the wall or the time being.

Okay guys just wanted to say as we are closing off at midnight tonight (March 3)my thanks to all involved with this GB and once again that goes for everyone whether you purchased or not........

Takes a lot for these things to be successful and we have had pro active members, a highly pro active seller and of course pro active buyers, many here have thanked me via PM and via posts in the thread and your thanks is sincerely appreciated, without knowing actual figures we would have ended up on a RRP basis of close to a 200K GB here.......

It is highly gratifying to see the excitement generated especially with members getting a PJ for the first time and some upgrading, imho there is nothing like sitting back and enjoying a movie,TV show or sport on a genuine big screen with the quality of picture afforded to us nowadays via projection......

go forth and enjoy and once again many thanks............
