Never heard an SVS or JL Audio.
But I can say these play extremely low, smooth and tight as they are sealed.

VTF-15H is still on the website
http://www.hsuresear...ts/vtf-15h.html
Shipping will be a bit more as these are large ported boxes @ 123lbs each
VTF15H will play louder at and around the ported box's tuning frequency. But will not go as low or loud as a ULS15 below or above tuning freq. Plus with dual drive you get more placement flexibility, and dont kill yourself moving one massive box. ULS15s are heavy suckers tho and tough to get around for one person, but VTF15 would be 2 person job for sure.

i been looking for a subwoofer, I am looking HSU VTF12mk4/ VTF 15 ...or
SVS pb 12-nsd/plus...but way too expensive in australia...deep hz (the australia distributer/retailer) sell it 650 dollars more expensive than the US for PB12 plus
the rythmik audio has a retailer in aus...but every sub is 400-500 dollars more expensive.
if you are looking for order HSU VTF12mk4 ..we can combine postage if u are in sydney...
that make it much cheaper...

Have you looked at using PriceUsa for shipping? I put in the information required, and got the below.
PRICE
item(s) price US$ 879.00
shipping in usa US$ 139.00
international ship US$ 425.67
delivery protection US$ 25.45
return protection US$ 112.93
exchange rate 0.996
total price A$ 1588.40
I would strongly suggest delivery protection option, as it enables shipping back and forth if damaged or for a warranty repair in the future at no cost to you from what I have read.
I do not have any association with PriceUsa, except for myself and a few friends have used the service previously with no issues.
