I just bought the ULS-15 dual drive and the cost of shipping was under USD500 for both (101kg).  What model are you looking at?

i am going to buy VTF3 mk4...and I got a quote of $$1370, the subwoofer cost 799..which 570US is the shipping, but shipping for 2 VTFmk4 is 2110 US

how is the ULS -15 sound? how is it compare to SVS/ JL audio...

Never heard an SVS or JL Audio.

But I can say these play extremely low, smooth and tight as they are sealed.

VTF-15H is still on the website

http://www.hsuresear...ts/vtf-15h.html

Shipping will be a bit more as these are large ported boxes @ 123lbs each

VTF15H will play louder at and around the ported box's tuning frequency.  But will not go as low or loud as a ULS15 below or above tuning freq.  Plus with dual drive you get more placement flexibility, and dont kill yourself moving one massive box.  ULS15s are heavy suckers tho and tough to get around for one person, but VTF15 would be 2 person job for sure.

I was interested in the Rythmik sealed 15" subs, they wanted USD1000 shipping for 2 so HSU Research got my business.

I ended up going for the Hsu Vtf15h i think costs roughly 1300 delivered to the airport.

Couldn't be more happy with the sub and service.

oh wow 1300 is a great price. That seems like a real contender, especially since i am only using it for home theatre.

i been looking for a subwoofer, I am looking HSU VTF12mk4/ VTF 15 ...or
SVS pb 12-nsd/plus...but way too expensive in australia...deep hz (the australia distributer/retailer) sell it 650 dollars more expensive than the US for PB12 plus

the rythmik audio has a retailer in aus...but every sub is 400-500 dollars more expensive.

if you are looking for order HSU VTF12mk4 ..we can combine postage if u are in sydney...
that make it much cheaper...

Hey mate. Id be looking for a 15" sub, but im sure we could still combine postage (see what the weights are and split it proportionately). Im not in any great rush though, do you have a time frame? Seems like the possible extra cost of shipping the vtf15  (123lbs) it might be worth it to just get the ULS15(93 lbs)

ok...I am ok with ULS 15/.....I remember I get the quote from they ...the postage will be about 250-300 dollars which will make the total cost around 1300-1400 mark...
if you ok with that and you in sydney lets meet before order ...how is that ?

was that postage each or total? I will have to think about it anyway. Good price but coming up to a very expensive time of year!

Don't forget to add on for customs duty/gst guys.  FedEx will call you up for this payment before they release the goods to you.

Guys,

Have you looked at using PriceUsa for shipping?  I put in the information required, and got the below.

PRICE
item(s) price US$ 879.00
shipping in usa                        US$ 139.00
international ship                     US$ 425.67
delivery protection                   US$ 25.45
return protection                      US$ 112.93
exchange rate                                                            0.996
total price A$                                1588.40

I would strongly suggest delivery  protection option, as it enables shipping back and forth if damaged or for a warranty repair in the future at no cost to you from what I have read.

I do not have any association with PriceUsa, except for myself and a few friends have used the service previously with no issues.
