World Media International have a 4 channel Italian TV package available via satellite for $35/month.

You get RAI Italia (aka RAI International), Mediaset, RAI News 24 and Yes Italia.

Does anybody know whether this version of Rai Italia is broadcast 16:9? How about Mediaset?

What's the picture quality like of the other channels?

On an unrelated note, I came across an Italian 24 hour news channel that is broadcast online. The aspect ratio is only 4:3  but the picture quality is pretty good.

That's pretty cool. Is this a personal slingbox or are you using a company to stream Italian TV?  What other channels are available?
