For those interested and have last years model - 2010 Samsung 3D TV, Samsung are offering up to 5 free pairs of glassess for FREE except you need to pay for postage and handling. Get on board quick they say, offer ends 30th September.

I am not associated with Samsung in any way, just received this email from Samsung and checked the website .... unfortunately they don't work with the current model which I'm in the process of purchasing.

Just ordered 5 pairs for myself and a work friend got 5 pairs for their tv as well... great promotion!

It says on the webpage there's only 3000 available, and their system hung up on me about 7 times before I could talk to someone, who only took my name, phone number and the number of glasses I wanted.. saying someone would call me back as they are very busy taking calls.  I doubt this offer will last more than a few days, even though it says until the end of this month [or they run out].

I left them my details as well but it's been over 1 hour and still no call back.  Luckily I gave them my mobile because I had to leave for work.

Just saw that.  Brilliant deal.   I would grab 5 personally if I owned a Samsung 2010 3D set.

I never received the call back from them.  The glasses are probably all sold by now.

I just received a call back right now...  They say it will take up to 4 weeks for them to arrive, but everything went through ok.

Just got a confirmation email that payment has been successfully made, and they provided a claim reference number.. and the following:

"Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be delivered by Australia Post."

Good stuff.

The eBay price will drop pretty rapidly when these start arriving,
