Released today 25/08/2011. Has anyone picked it up as yet?

saw this the other day on one of the cabe TV shows. Not much of a games player these days - unless you include building blocks, and racing cars with my 4 y.o. games playing, but was shocked when my wife said that looks really good, maybe you should buy it.

Windeath persuaded me to order this from ozgameshop in the UK so my copy is on the way.

I was a tad worried about how good the game would actually be but it looks like those concerns were unwarranted as the reviews thus far have been quite complimentary.

Hahahaha mine too. Hey for $55 delivered it's worth it. But those scores have quashed any fears I may have had. Can't wait.

Picked up the PS3 version last night. It looks excellent and is reminiscent of the original 2000 Deus Ex which is one of the most memorable PC games I've ever played.

Been playing the 360 version. Despite the fact the some of the models and textures are quite dated i'm just loving this game, i've only just killed the first boss but probably spent 10hrs in the game exploring (and dealing 2hrs witha bugged side-quest). Didn't play the original but this is my kind of game, loving all the alternate paths you can take and playing it mostly stealth seems much more fun than all out guns blazing.

Probably the first new game of 2011 I could outright recommend as essential gaming. The conversations and animations in those scenes are rather clunky but the gameplay does take front seat thankfully.

I couldn't wait and got the PS3 version. My X360 copy arrived also and will do the 7 day thing with the PS3 version. I must say that I'm finding it a tad difficult. Not the shooting as such that bit I actually really quite like. The fact that every bloody thing you inevitably need to do is hack related you need to spend all of your mod coins (what ever they're called) on that attribute as opposed to other cooler mods...like the beating the sh!t out people upgrade  :P
