Currently $34.99 on Amazon.com , a steal at that price.

Super news thanks.

I'd forgotten I had this on order during last years Black Friday and now have the double bonus of high A$ and a big price reduction.

Not long to go now  :)

A new UK version review:

With a video transfer to die for, and some very cool extras, this is a package that is worth its weight in gold.
Game of Thrones is an absolute gem. You simply must own this.
Overall score : 10

Costs an extra $6 to get this from Amazon UK compared to US, but I'm thinking it might be worth it. Uk usually gets here nice and quick! So looks like its probably using the same transfer as the US then?

I seriously doubt there would be two transfers in existence

Actually it's on as a pending transaction on my CC so I guess they are just slack with the email.

JB have it for $52.98 if you were clever you would get JB to price match Big W the advantage of getting it at Jb is that they currently have a deal that if you buy GOT you can then purchase any other HBO series for 50% off and it seems like that includes multiple series not just the one :)

Mine shipped with the exact same info as roachy. I have no doubt it will arrive well before that.

Having seen the Australian version in JB yesterday I'm definitely glad I opted for the much better packaged (Aus one seems like it is just a slip in a regular cover) and priced US version.

Exact same info on mine also, and agree will arrive well before estimated delivery as they always do. Sick of being ripped-off on many Aus versions of inferior quality BD to the US version. From packaging to non 7.1 soundtracks (even when the sleeve says 7.1, only getting 5.1 audio) not to mention stupid price differences. Much prefer the convenience of online shopping anyway.

Picked this up at JB tonight, much cheaper than Amazon UK for a change. About to throw the first disc in the Oppo.

How does 32GBP (the new price) translate to $43? Delivery on top of that? Today's exchange rate makes it as $47.40 plus CC or website commission on currency exchange plus delivery...

$49.95 from my local shopping centre is cheaper and easier in my book. Yeah, I buy most of my BD from amazon but good to always check local pricing too.
