Happy New Year everyone! :)

Oh dear, the forum's had a revamp and I'm constricted to a tiny Twitter-sized box on my PS3 browser. Not good. Ergo, after I'm done availing myself of a few more Blu-ray's you won't see me for dust... not big on change is me.

Anyhoo, in respect of what I'm passing on, take your pick! It'd be helpful if folks could put their hands up publicly so I don't have to wade through a sea of PM's... which is going to be more bothersome than ever now that my navigation tools are likewise 'constricted' (grumbles and tries to remain cheery)...

Btw, these are all Region A:

Adventureland
American History X
Babylon AD
Bruno
The Dark Knight
Diary Of A Wimpy Kid
Hobo With A Shotgun
The Joneses
My Sister's Keeper
Speed Racer
Transporter 3
Wall-E

Fantastic effort again X-Phile.

Can I request:

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Speed Racer
Transporter 3

If so, let me know and I will pass on my details.

Also, I have just realised I still have Shaun of the Dead to pass on.

Ron

You certainly can Ron! :)

Oh, just noticed that some of the titles I listed have already done the rounds here. Nevertheless, I'll leave them on offer for another 24 hours and if nobody claims them I could always dump them in a charity bin. Charming... but at least my display cabinet will thank me! Please forward your mailing details Ron, and I'll bundle yours up for Friday. ;)

Okay, thanks to everyone who replied. Dice, can you PM your mailing details please? And that's a wrap folks... I think there's only 3 Blu-rays left (Bruno, My Sister's Keeper, Wall-E) so those can quite easily be rescinded. Blu-rays that have been claimed will be posted out on Friday... Until next time, happy viewing!

Reminder to Dice:

Could you please message your address details before Friday morning please. With a handful of Blu-rays to be shifted all at once, I prefer to make only the one trip to the GPO. If you haven't replied by Friday then I'll just hand your titles to one of the other claimants. ;)

Just a quick update because I'm way too tired to bother with personal messages. Call me lazy but never call me ungrateful.

All titles, barring Wall-E (which has since been repossessed), were despatched today. Figjam got the extra copy of My Sister's Keeper he asked for, and Ronsta scored Bruno. Anyways, I've done my good deed for the day... let's see how long before Auspost does theirs. Thanks again, community members. ;)

I received both discs Hanna and Fast 5 from oldaudiophile this morning. Thanks very much. He wraps them very carefully. That is great. When I finish I will post a message for others to know and will do the same thing as oldaudiophile to me including carefully wrapping them for protection.

In the spirit of giving back to this forum I have my backup copy of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai (Criterion Edition) that I would like to add to the lending library. As it is a backup it means that it is not region locked and so it might appeal to someone who cannot normally watch Region A locked Blu-Rays.

If this is going against the principles of this thread or if anyone objects I shall withdraw my offer and please don't be offended.

As this is a 1954 Black and White Japanese movie with english subtitles, is also quite long and is in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio with mono sound I imagine it would not be to everyone's taste. But it is a classic and is probably the best version currently available. The digital transfer is a step up from the previous Criterion SD DVD and has both the original and optional DTS HD Master Audio mono soundtracks. There are also two english commentaries from film scholars which just about fills up the 50GB disc.

Hey guys I might be pushing it here but I'm wondering if I could possibly borrow a blu-ray off someone, of course I'll pay for postage both ways.

It's Orson Welles' Touch of Evil (I think there is only a UK release)
