Got a call from a Foxtel marketer this arvo. I'm in an Austar area and I said I wasn't interested in Austar and he stated that I can NOW receive Foxtel (after 10 years of previous attempts on my behalf) I said I don't want any of those rubbish Mystar boxes (flame suit on) and he said that the boxes are all badged with Foxtel now. Does this mean I'll be getting a rebadged Mystar box if I decide to take up his offer? He's calling me back tomorrow at 2pm to further discuss. (Satellite dish customer I would be).

As far as I know there is no new box available and you may well end up with a mys**** even the hd boxes are flakey.I would wait
till there is a new box announced.

I have no direct knowledge, however I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a rebadged mystar box (with a FW update on the logo).

The Foxtel sellers in the local shopping centre are advertising the Mystar boxes. When I asked the guy he said that they are still issuing the old Austar boxes until further notice.

Will be a lot of people complaining when they get foxtel boxes that while being more reliable, don't have a terrestrial tuner.
