Now that you mention that. I pulled the Pro Mod from my old BDP-93 and put in the 95..

Hi Drem, did you disconnect the mod from the 95 and try the roll back?

cheers

I know there was mention some months ago but i can't find it.
I'm having trouble getting avatar 3d to work. Does the player need an update to play (which would remove iso playback) or is there a workaround?

cheers

No, I didnt try it. I asked Oppo why the RED-8520 procedure doesnt work anymore. This is the reply:

Hi, why is the "RED-8-5-2-0" button procedure removed? I need to back to an earlier firmware. Is there any other way? I'm on the latest BDP9XEU-74-0908.

"Unfortunately the instructions for reverting the firmware to a previous release has changed with the later firmware releases and we are not able to disclose the instructions for reverting the firmware. If you need the firmware of your player rolled back to a previous release, then you will need to contact the original reseller or OPPO-Bluray.co.uk and inquire about having your player returned for manual downgrade.

Best Regards,
Oppo Customer Service"

Cant see any workaround for discs wheelz ; java no doubt

Plays fine when its an iso file on my tvix 3d s2 so imagine the iso firmware on my 95 should be fine too as a workaround ;) disc didnt play on my 95 either..

I'm on an ISO FW and Avatar 3D disc works fine.  Are you having trouble with the disc or just and ISO file?
