Does anyone know where I can get my Homecast PVR looked at/repaired in Perth (pref NOR).  I don't know enough to open the thing up and fiddle around so need someone who knows what they're doing.

Thanks in advance :)

Mark Warkus, see the Topfield or Beyonwiz forums (and maybe here somewhere).  He is in Perth and repairs PVRs at a very reasonable price.

Thanks Tony,

Yes am here too, although I really had to struggle to remember my password, lol...

:)

No Capes,

I am south of the river, but can meet you in Perth CBD on Wednesday this week if convenient to save you the trip out here. I have repaired heaps of Homecasts, so no problem there.

Message me on this forum if you like and we can organise the details.

Hi Mark,

I know it has been a while since this post has been active, but I have been trying to get in contact with you in the hope that you can take a look at my Beyonwiz DP-S1.  I have seen how popular your help has been for people on the beyonwiz forum and I believe I have a problem you have seen before.  (overheated in summer and now has error 0000 and won't start).

I am in Perth so it would be brilliant if you could help.  please let me know if you would be willing to see it.  Hope to hear back from you and arrange another means of contact.

Regards,
Andrew

Hi R0bbo,

Besides injuring myself late last year and taking some time off and away from day to day stuff, I have not really been on DTV much but I can't say I have received any messages or emails from you. How have you been trying to get hold of me?!?!?!?!

Message me here at DTV and I will get in touch with you ASAP.

Hi Warkus,

I'm yet another DP-P2 owner with the dreaded Error 0000 message. While I have been lucky in that I've been able to find another DP-P2 at Altronics in Melbourne, and even as I type am pulling the files off the HDD through a Linux mount, I'd still like to get the old STB back into service.

Unfortunately I'm a new member and unable to PM anyone as yet. How else could contact you, if you're still into helping fix these STBs?

Thanks in advance.

George

Go to the RED Textarea and make some dummy posts to get your post count up to 5 (or maybe it's 10) and then you'll be able to PM Warkus

Thanks diesel, it was indeed 5 posts, and I can now view Warkus' details and should be able to PM him.

Cheers.
