you should have asked if were after pics, could have posted some. have some pics of the mf a5pre's innards as well. will post when get a chance. its a beauty inside, get to see why its the grunty thing it is
drew, mf do themselves offer upgrades, for all their gear going back to year dot. I'd see it as a kind of refresh at say the 10 15 year mark to let the equipment be re born/recycled rather than be thrown on the scr@p heap. that said my 18 year old mf valve dac is still going. and not aimed for the scr@p heap. though yeah perhaps might send that mfs way for a refresh in a couple of years when hits the 20 mark
