I live on the Sunshine Coast.

I do much of my Mystar HD recording from the Austar online website.  Recording ABC1 via 102 hasn't been available to me when I log in to my Austar online TV guide as 102 is 'missing' from the online channel lineup.  I can get 102 on the Mystar, it just isn't listed in the online TV Guide!  In the past I have been able get around this by using 020 to set up my ABC1 recordings.  Now 020 has changed and is readying itself as the ABC 24Hr News Channel.

So to record anything on ABC1 I now have to do it via the Mystar HD Set Top Box.

The same happens with 7TWO.  My online TV Guide has it at 072 but I get it on the STB at 062 (the local version of 7TWO) which isn't on the online guide.  Again I can only record 062 via the STB!

You would think this should be easy enough to fix but ..........

Here we are told the local HD Channel 7 is "unavailable" to Austar!  Because we are fairly close to Brisbane we do get Brisbane HD Channel 7 on 070!

And from other threads I read here, there are some very strange online TV Guide setups for various areas all over Australia!

All and all, a strange situation!

Feel free to list your strange online TV Guide setup here (or are we here on the Sunny Coast the only 'unlucky ones'?).

Now my HD Fox Sports 3 (205) has disappeared from the Austar online website!  I can still see it on my TV via my HD Mystar but it has now gone from the TV online guide!

I've pointed out the "missing" Channel 102 line to them on numerous occasions going back as far as March when I first noticed it was missing, yet they usually express surprise, and say that "Oh really? No-one else has reported that". More a case of "Oh really? Tell someone who cares!" I think.

It can't be that difficult to add a line to the guide.  They showed us that they DO actually know how to do it when they successfully added Channel 024 to the guide last week.

Now that 020 (ABC-HD) has gone, I really need 102 to be listed to allow ABC1 recordings to be set via the website.

"Fox Sports HD3" has reappeared on my Online Guide today!

7TWO comes to my box on 062 so I still can't record via the Online Guide.  Online Guide has 072 but my Mystar box package channel is 062!  If I try to Online TV Guide record via 072 I get an error message every time.

hahahaha thats funny cos i just complained about it too. but they didn't pretend they didn't know, they told me that it didnt work because of something to do with the new news channel, now 102 is a local feed? Or something? And its something to do with that, I wouldn't hold your breath, i think its a technical restriction....

i only record one or two things on abc so not a big deal for me..

Austar online guide has the wrong local channels for me and they can't fix it. I want the GC Channels, not the Northern NSW Channels. Why they can't have what is on your Mystar HD has got me knackered.

How does Austar get there epg information?

I have no EPG for Nine, Nine HD and Go (I live in Adelaide). Every other FTA channel is fine. My tv, Media Centre Win 7 and Play TV all recieve the channel nine EPG's fine. Austar claims its out of there control as they dont control FTA epg information. Clearly is something to do with the way theyve programed the machine.

I am on the Sunshine Coast.  I couldn't get onto the online TV Guide this morning for quite a while.  When I did get there what do you know, Channel 102 was there.  Now I can set my MyStarHD to record the ABC from my PC.  I still can't do local 7TWO and 7Mate which I get on 62 and 63.  Instead my online guide has 72 and 73 for these channels which my box doesn't receive.  When I hit "record" on 72 or 73 on the online guide I get an error message.

But at least the ABC is now working OK on the online guide.
