It's not going very far at all. The additional channels that have been added TV3+1 and C42 are both cheap to operate channels. The only other additions are a couple if Chinese language channels. TVNZ with their two HD channels can't even get their act together and transmit sound as AC3. They still do it in 2 channel AAC. Media Works only has 1 HD channel the rest are in SD but at least the one in HD has AC3 audio option and they seem yo have more HD content that TVNZ....
