Sky officially launches 3D
Sky has confirmed that it will launch its 3D channel with the Manchester United and Chelsea game on Saturday 3 April.
Following the channel's launch, Sky will then show a further five Premier League games before the end of the current season (Sunday 9 May) and the Coca-Cola Football League Play-Off Finals at the end of May, live and in 3D.
According to Sky over a thousand pubs and clubs across the UK and Ireland have signed up for Sky 3D. In between live events, Sky 3D will run a showcase of 3D content covering a wide range of programming.
