Coming up on the 23th sept at midday catch of the day have the ps3 slim for $339 in the pressure cooker sale for anyone interested.

or maybe it was to through everyone off , so you could get one.
i wonder how many they would have to sell , i think at this price it will be hard to get one. just like getting a concert ticket online.

The bundles arn't that tempting atm, and most places seem to be trying to offload old/**** games.

Has anybody had any luck getting a newish game with the bundle? (Wouldn't mind Batman, but as far as I know, Dick Smith arn't doing it anymore)

i managed to wrangle Sacred 2 and a HDMI cable when i bought mine on release date

I will be looking at getting one Xmas or early next year. There might be an Uncharted 2 bundle closer to Xmas, or a God of War pack next year (still pissed about the GOW 1&2 HD pack, though - there should be a redemption for PS2 owners of the same game).

If not, it may be worth just getting a cheaper 40gb fat and using the difference for some games worth playing.

Game in Perth were offering a trade-in of $415 for the PS3 60GB fat so by time you deducted $25 for the included game it only worked out to $59 I had to pay for the Slim. Not bad for the extra storage, upgrade to a Dual Shock 3 and most importantly a new 12mth warranty. Also a little quieter than my fat which is a pleasant bonus.

Even finding a brick and mortar place that sells new fats is probably a job in itself now. I guess you've already looked at eBay. Most of them would be used of course so probably wouldn't suit your criteria.

Spoke to the lads across the road at Sony and they had one put aside, but they sorted it out for me. Cheers Felix I completely forgot about Sony Centre (only 20 metres from me!).
