This one got announced real fast:

DVD Active Announcement

Blu-ray™ High Def Bonus Material

* “Re-Forging the Future” – Go behind the scenes of Terminator Salvation with an exclusive set tour.
* “The Moto-Terminator” - See how the Terminator Salvation visual effects crew and Ducati partnered to create the slick and deadly Moto-Terminator!
* Maximum Movie Mode featuring director McG deconstructing the film’s key moments.
* Picture (PiP) commentary with cast and crew interviews, storyboards, still galleries, timeline and more!
* Plus, 11 mini featurette focus points spotlighting how the ground-breaking special effects were created!

BD LIVE Content Includes:

* “Resist Or Be Terminated” Tech Com videos (nine viral videos from the theatrical campaign and four new videos from the Home Entertainment campaign)
* “The Final Resistance” video – access the secret plans of Skynet
* CINECHAT – BD-Live technology that lets viewers around the world chat live about this, or any other CINECHAT enabled BD disc, from Sony Pictures International Home Entertainment!

Sounds ok, great demo material hopefully too. Being Sony I would at least expect Dolby TrueHD, but by then they may have moved to DTS HD Master Audio.

was a very average movie with no storyline, other than the Arnie appearance, but will be a demo BD disc and a day one buy for me

Very weak film i thought. By the way i think this is a warner release isnt it? Given it has Maximum Movie mode i think its going to be a warner produced disc regardless . Seems to be happening a bit atm with one studio producing the disc and other regions just releasing the same pressing in their own altered cover package.

McG only tried to live in the shadows of the master - James C.

The ending with arnie wannabe was only a direct copycat of an original scene already made a classic. If you guys search the original script for the movie, this movie production has gone through a major corkscrew ride and the result was big bang (like end of t3) and again blows up in your face at the end of the show...

any chance of seeing Christian Bale's explosive rant as a special feature ???

with regards to films being released / announced rather FAST - its FAST becoming the NORM to maintain public awareness / interest / and reduce promotional needs - and of course RAKE IN MORE MONEY.

I missed this at the cinema (opps - ITS STILL ON) but will eventually get this on some format

I am glad that I caught it at the cinema as the SQ was absolutely fantastic. Body compressing soundwaves that would be difficult to emulate in the home theatre. A definite purchase for me despite the reviews being so-so. Aussie Sam Worthington stole the entire film.

With no deleted scenes in the first release, I expect at least a double and maybe even triple dip.
