ecogamer.com.au
Its a website that displays many local store advertisements which mostly consist of discounts.
Another great site showing current gaming bargains in Australia for the usual suspects (EB, JB, Big W, etc): http://palgn.com.au/

You can pick up both the Lego games from www.dvd.co.uk included in their 2 games for 30GBP deal. Plus 1GBP delivery for each works out at about $30-$35 per game.
2 games for 30GBP deal
You can also get LITTLE BIG PLANET for about $40 shipped: LITTLE BIG PLANET link

Well, if some of the responses here are anything to go by, there is still a large fanbase for COD4.

I look at them as being both brilliant shooters (the best on 360/PS3), but COD4 has a modern day setting and weapons and COD WAW has a WW2 setting and weapons. So they are different enough to make me feel like I have a choice about which I would want to play. Also, COD WAW has upped the brutality level. I would not let a kid watch you playing this game. In your face knife attacks, dismemberments and even moral decisions about killing unarmed enemies. They have really tried to take to the brutal reality of war. Scary at times.
The fans of COD4 are slowly moving to COD WAW and I believe this game will have a longer life span. It uses the same engine and is brilliant in multiplayer online. Also, my friend loves hearing Keither Sutherland (Jack Bauer from 24) shouting orders at him!! Haha! BTW, I played COD WAW for almost four hours online last night. It really is good fun.
If you are not sure, think about what you would rather play with, modern weapons or WW2 weapons. That's the bottom line. You will love both, but I also think COD WAW will out live COD4 online eventually.

I fully agree that both games are top notch. Now I see why COD4 is still expensive, let's hope its getting a price decrease this year otherwise I'd just get COD WAW instead. Thanks for the info mate

If someone wants to become 'most awesome forum member 09' could they check there local kmart (nearest to me is 40 mins drive) to see if the ps3 remote is the official sony remote. if anyone is willing to post me a remote I could pay in advance via paypal, or better yet know of an online store where i can get the official ps3 remote for around the same price ($19.95).
Has anyone ever tried getting play.com to deliver to Australia, they has some damn good prices at the moment, seem to post to Europe only though!

How stupidly expensive is that for what could possibly be one of the worst games of the last few years?

I prefer this bundle over the new bundle (PES 2008 + Assassins Creed) - Where do I get this bundle for $399? (And this, I assume, is also supplied with jasper xbox, right?)

Jaspers will have "12.1A" as the power configuration written to the left of the serial number, the power plug that connects to the back of the 360 will be plastic coated instead of the previous models metal coating. The power brick will also have ventilation slots across the top where as the older brick only had ventilation at the ends.
The older bundle was still advertised in the store I went to so providing your local jb has stock you should be cool. It will be up to you to make sure you get a jasper. Ask to look in the box, my local store manager had no issues with this, if your lucky you can move the 360 around in the box slightly (without opening the box) so the serial number is more visible through the "peep holes".
Set up my jasper yesterday big improvement over my 06 model that never gave me any issues so I feel a little guilty retiring it, still it will find a new home soon enough.
