Apologies as im sure this has been covered but search wasnt working for me...
I just bought a logitech universal remote and need to buy something that allows me to use it with ps3.. I have heard of a blutooth to infrared converter in america...do we do anything similar here? If not does anybody have any recommendations as to what infrared dongle to get? Thanks in advance |

I don't know about BT to IR converter which sounds expensive, but one of these should do the job:

depends if you want to be able to turn on your ps3 with your logitech remote or not..
i do so i brought a ir2bt only thing is i brought early so since the last ps3 update to 2.41 it stopped turning on the ps3 ( but is gettin sent back and fixed) - all the new ones made now work fine there is also the compertition PS3IR-PRO i beleive a lil bit more $$$$ but has upgraded-able firmware which the ir2bt does not - just in case something happens when new ps3 firmware is put out--- it can be fixed easy check out there forums anyways http://ir2bt.com http://www.schmartstuff.com/ http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...N:IT&ih=009 one of those will do the job but it will not turn the ps3 on and off with a logitech remote |

There is also the PS3ToothFairy available.
I have one of these, and it's been terrific. There are multiple models available, depending on your needs. Mine will be in a cupboard, so I chose the one with an IR control jack built in. |
