You are welcome when I have got my new entertainment unit, allowing my front speakers to be a little closer together, and in particular allowing the front left speaker to be away from a side wall.  Of course the NuForce P9 in the meantime is being broken in  -_-

I am not certain there is any point trying to run a 30Hz test tone when the Paradigm S6 speakers are rated as going down to 40Hz ... and that is low enough in my book in any case.  Of course I can check the levels being put out at 30Hz and compare with that at 1kHz.  That is for a later time.
There's always a point.  :)     40Hz sure can be low enough, depending on the type of music you like to listen to.   My speakers were rated by the manufacturer down to 30Hz, but I dont like to run them lower than 60 - because the bass is handled better elsewhere.  The reason why I suggest you do the 30Hz test,  is so you can hear what your speakers are trying to do, when presented with material in the 30Hz region (or below).   There is plenty of bass heavy music, that will push your system to those depths,  and your nice S6's will do their darndest to play it back for you.

Sub integration and using some form of bass management can take your system to another level.   I would rather use my rane active crossover, than no sub integration at all.   And am still happy to lend it to you, to experiment with.

All that said,  I congratulate you on finding a solution you are happy with.   It's been a long journey for you, and I tip my hat your way for being patient and tenacious.  Your efforts will be rewarded with many hours of pleasure, I'm sure.

Thanks Millsy.

When I get my new entertainment unit, I will be re-assessing my system.  As you know my new entertainment unit will allow my front speakers to be closer together, with the left front speaker away from a side wall.  I may well take you up on your offer later.
