Jack Reacher 2.35:1 - DTS-HD MA 7.1

Region A but region free

PQ: 4.5/5 - As you would expect from a newer release this is pretty good without ever blowing you away, night scenes are also very good in this............

AQ: 4.5/5 -  Didn't do much for me audio wise but there is certainly nothing wrong with it and does what it needs to, when it needs to......

The Movie: Apparently this is part of a book series, movie starts with a loner shooting 5 people in America (something different) and soon after the loner is arrested but ends up in a coma, but before he does he asks, well writes (as he doesn't speak a word until later in the film) on a piece of paper that he wants to see Jack Reacher.

Reacher is also a loner who rights wrongs and lives off the grid, in fact you don't find him, he finds you, and once on the case things start to liven up amid corruption conspiracies and things getting blown up eventually, I actually found this pretty good to watch, it is not overly fast paced but gives you time to take in the story with a couple of twists along the way...............

well worth a rent............
We thought this was excellent. The audio blew me away. Discreet channels working overtime with gunfire especially realistic.
My better half is addicted to Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels and said that even though Tommy is no Reacher, he did a good job and the film was well paced and suitably thrilling
