Bourne has now jumped back up to £17.49 - I had it in my shopping basket, was just holding off for a new credit card to arrive to purchase and when I've gone in to complete the transaction today it's bloody gone up!

Don't sweat!  What goes up, will come down... :-)

So, a new thread for the upcoming black Friday sales or just post the deals in this thread?

Thread exists here - http://www.dtvforum....p...57&hl=black

1) easier to read those specific bargains for just those few hours/days.

2) makes it easier on a thread search - so that if you want to go back to the previous year/s you can see 'what' was on special - rather than looking in this massive thread !!!

a tad LOST....  well LOST SEASON 6 here.......  Amazon UK - 12.99pds (or about $17 after VAT)

http://www.amazon.co...=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

** LOST in the sense that I was one of those whom bought the US Lost Collection 1-5 December 2009 for $100  http://www.blu-ray.c...5-Blu-ray/5367/  ... and LOST US S6 has never dropped to a good bargain price.  AH..... do I grab it - knowing that the 'case' is probably going to be different from the US ones ??  :)  and no slip case ???  questions without answers.... or wait... for the US.... to never drop .... ????  or didn't that fat guy just eat everyone in the end ???

I am probably putting myself up for ridicule with this post.  But I have been holding off on purchasing any Harry Potter movies in the past knowing the series is incomplete.  All the Harry Potter movies are out now, are they not?  There better not be a Harry Potter 8??  I have already ordered one of the complete set from Amazon UK, should I cancel?????

Harry Potter 7 was split into two parts so that the studio could cash in one final time. They've already crossed the James Bond series in terms of revenue but still want more. Typical. Anyway, so that makes 8 films in all for the Potty series. Unless J.K. Rowling decides to write a book about Harry's life as a dole-bludging dropout, the series will close with eight movies.

The strategy of splitting the final film in two pieces has also been picked up by the producers of the Twilight series. It's called "Breaking Wind" and has two parts - the first where the gas builds up and the second filled with the resulting f@rt ....

LOL on twilight. I didn't mind the first. The second I kept falling asleep in. And the third, both my wife and I were cringing the entire time it is so CHEEZY. I hope they haven't continued the downward spiral...

Guys, sorry for the OT post.

For the Perth people:

Just wondering if there is anyone in Perth that is interested in pooling purchase with me for the following steelbook/metal slipcase stand?

Blu-ray Steelbook Stand

I am keen to try out a couple of these stands to see if they are any good for displaying blu-ray steelbook.  I work in Northbridge on weekdays but I live in Canning Vale

Drop me a PM please if interested in doing a mini group-buy together?

I wouldn't be shocked to see a HP prequel one day set around the time of his parents. Depends on Rowling allowing rights to the characters I would assume.

You might have to wait for awhile.  It was in the lightning deal last nite worked out to be around AU$50 - VAT was not taken off.

All titles in my cart just decreased on AmazinUS;

Scarface (Steelbook) $11.99US.
True Grit (2010) $10.99US.

Pulp Fiction (Though, this one's not region-free, so can't get it) ~$8.99US.

First purchase from the US site for a while, so we'll see how delivery times are these days..

No they remove tax before discounting, so you only get at the advertised price.

You sure Scarface is not region A locked? Amazon site lists it as being region A. I will be ordering it if it's region free.
