All BDs are always at least 30% off RRP, but since RRP can be $US40 for a single title that's not saying much. Has to be a fair bit more than 30% off RRP (or a major drop in RRP) to qualify as a "bargain" I reckon.

One place for cheaper Blu-Ray if you live in Victoria is the following. Blockbuster Karingal Hub (Frankston) has 3 for $65. When I chose three, I got Wild Hogs, Persuit of Happiness and Layercake. Stated most Blu-Ray's were included in this price. Hope that I can still get some next time I can get some if there are any left

We've all been spoilt by the low prices for the HD-DVD firesale, so even these don't look like bargains. <_<

However, AVP 2-pack is now $49 so that bargain didn't last long (not that AVP was a very good movie:  AVP2 is more like a Predator 3 to me and much better).

And why are the EzyDVD titles not available till May 1?  Some of those are already on the shelf.  I suspect they mean the 3 for 2 doesn't apply till May 1.  Even so, that's still $27 each.

Since these titles will be available for rent (for $2-$3 at certain times), there doesn't seem much point in buying.

Dunno if this is old news or not, but Amazon is offering a pre-order deal on National Treasure 1 & 2 (Out May 20). Buy both together and get them for $39.99 - apparently a 43% saving off RRP. I've preordered this because even factoring in shipping, you're still saving roughly $15 than buying it from DVDPacific. Good thing is since they're counting it as a bundle, you only get charged the $2.99 Per DVD charge ONCE  :D (Making the total for standard shipping, $7.98)

Looks like they got rid of the $30 "sale" and put all the titles into the 3 for 2

Does anyone know if the ezy-dvd 3 for 2 sale has a cut off date to place the orders by? I'm tempted to get a couple of movies, but I don't want to put them on order now only to pick them up cheaper elsewhere whilst I'm waiting.

You can always cancel a preorder.
