Excellent - Ridge Racer 7 and Motorstorm for $50? I'll have me some of that, thanks!

Presuming they actually have stock this time, of course.

We can only hope ... at least it's Kmart and not BigW, so there's at least a chance.

might get motorstorm from k-mart if it is indeed $49.

How is motorstorm anyway? im rly in awe of the crash affects in that game..it seems to be the game that nearly all stores have on display.

Sadly I will be at the cricket all day and won't be able to get to a store. Anyone want to pick up Motorstorm for me? :P

After looking through all the stores and finding some open, some closed, I'm considering getting in contact with the ACCC to make it a requirement for Major Stores like Kmart to be open on Boxing day as it Really unfair that some people get access to specials that may never be seen again, while others who even though they have a Kmart near them will miss out due to the stores decision to close :angry2:

Anyone care to join me on this?

Really stupid decision by NSW gov to close non CBD stores in NSW.

The reason being to allow workers to enjoy their boxing day holiday, but in reality most of them would rather work and earn 2.5x OT rate!

Well, I suppose I can go to the CBD...

Shouldn't be a problem, you'll need to be at Kmart as soon as the doors open to get the game you want as I would expect they'll only have a few of each and will most likely sell out of the good stuff 10mins after opening. That'll give you plenty of time to get home have a quick play on the PS3 and have the BBQ clean and ready for the cricket.
PS- Don't forget to drop by the liquor store on the way home

Are you sure about that ?

Do we really need to go shopping on Boxing Day ?

I know a few people in retail that are either happy that they don't have to work or envious of those that don't have to.

My wife works in hospitality, her place of work is only closed on Christmas day, she starts work at 7am Boxing Day and believe me she'd much rather be at home with her family.

Lucky you, it'll be a great day, 70,000+ at the MCG is always an amazing site no matter if it's footy or cricket.

it would be so much easier if the places that choose to open on public holiday's tried the voluntary roster. i know my Son would jump at the chance for the extra $'s. so would most of his friends. too easy?

Some people have WAY too much time on their hands

I only checked Victoria, as I live there. Guess it pays to be a Southerner ;)
