I realise of course that Quickflix has a purchasing plan / budget / stock control system etc etc. Question is, when popular TV series become available do Quickflix get onto it fairly quickly or do they wait for customer requests? If the latter, I'll get a petition up for Goodnight Sweetheart
Regards
Michael
Did you contact Customer support about this request ? or how have you gone about requesting " Goodnight sweetheart "
i am sure that it will come in and when it does i work at the Brisbane office we put in most of the tv series into the data base so when i will see it i will post it up on the forum ok well i hope it wont be a long wait
take care

Ok how is this a questionable policy everywhere you go that has a debit system has this set up, they bill you for the future month in advance its a way of payment so you don't rip off the system by canceling you credit card before a payment is due. my isp does the same thing. If someone did terminated their subscription to Quickflix and felt that they were ripped off buy direct debit by all mean call Customer Support on: 1300 138 644

Hi pud, on the main screen I go to "Help -> Library Suggestions" which takes me to a text box where I type in some comments about suitable material not yet included in the Quickflix collection and submit it.
While I've got your attention

what movies do you want ????
The list on offer is pretty good I suppose, but there's just a few films here and there that come out on Blu-ray either at a later date or not at all, even when they are available for purchase.

Jeez mate you're harsh there.
According to EzyDVD not a single one of those films has been released on BD in this country yet. And you can't expect them to import them in with so many discs region coded.

Yep, just checked Sunshine BR on Amazon - is not even released OS yet, so to criticise quickflix for not having it is pretty unreasonable.
edit: sorry, bit slow.

i didnt question the system of paying in advance so dont deflect from the point just because in casts a shadow over Quickflix.
since when is charging $20 for a refund of your money for rental you didnt want or use been a acceptable ethical practice ?
i wonder just how much money Quickflix have raked from it!

What happens with tv series is that you will get disc in order as in disc 1 , 2 ,3 ,4 etc and also make sure that you have the disc order right in your queue as the computer program that allocates dvd to customers looks at the queue order and sees if that dvd is available

Quickflix is sending out 1 extra dvd out as a Christmas present, so if you have a 3 dvd at a time plan you will receive 4 dvds only for a limited time
and Merry Christmas from all the Quickflix Team

Thanks, pud, I noticed that! Thought it was a computer glitch but I'd better get watching immediately! Merry Christmas.

I got the email yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.
Just a quick question about your HD-DVD collection if I may.
Because there is no region coding on HD-DVD (and none of the old PAL/NTSC issues), has Quickflix considered importing any titles?
Movies like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Slither, The Last Starfighter, Erin Brockovich, The Host, Mallrats, Clerks II, March of the Penguins, Dune, Terminator 3, Happy Gilmore, Constantine, Million Dollar Baby, Oceans 13, Tremors, Being John Malkovich, Dawn of the Dead, We Are Marshall, Notting Hill and many others don't even look like getting a release on HD-DVD in this country at the moment, meanwhile TV shows like Smallville, The Sopranos and Nip/Tuck have all had seasons released on HD-DVD overseas but not here.

As with the HD DVD's we get our dvds from Australian suppliers so if the suppliers stocks that dvd we will put a order to get it
have you tried to request the HD dvd in question, if you request the dvd it may fast track it go to http://www.quickflix.../ContactUs.aspxand request the HD DVD title that you would want

Thanks for the quick reply. Much appreciated.
Unfortunately, if Quickflix are only dealing with Australian suppliers then I'm pretty sure I'll be SOL with those titles. At least until (or if ever) the distributors get off their bums and release them in this country. I might put in a request anyway though, it's at least worth a try.
Thanks again.

Just a suggestion though - you need to update your 'coming soon' pamphlet as September has come and gone.
Otherwise, all's good

One thing I do wish is that Quickflix could list the region coding for BluRays. Would make it a tad easier for people like me with region A devices
