I've noticed this question pop up a couple of times now in a few threads so I though it would be nice to have it posted in a single spot so you can point people to it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
This thread refers to the title available by redemption from Toshiba with the purchase of one of their current range of HD DVD players, E1, EP10 & XE1. See this page for more info on the redemption process. For the E1 "Redemption Items(s)" means: Free 3 x HD Titles: The Holiday, Miami Vice and Hulk For the EP10 "Redemption Items(s)" means: Free 4 x HD titles ‐ choice of 4 out of 8 HD titles (Superman Returns, Troy, Batman Begins, V For Vendetta, Perfect Storm, Syriana, Polar Express, Ant Bully) For the XE1 "Redemption Items(s)" means: Free 5 x HD titles ‐ choice of 5 out of 8 HD titles (Superman Returns, Troy, Batman Begins, V For Vendetta, Perfect Storm, Syriana, Polar Express, Ant Bully) This offer is scheduled to end on the 30/10/07 with redemptions closing on 15/11/07. so how long do you have to wait till you get the redemption titles - I checked my redemption on the website and it says for the 5 titles:
17/08/07 Fulfillment in Process: Money Orders/Redemption item(s) being ordered so..thats 2 months ago the titles were being ordered !!!!... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Thanks Mat |

When I tried to lodge my serial no it was not accepted and I phoned up and they fixed it on the spot. Then when I lost the receipt which I needed for the invoice number, I emailed them and they said no problems just get another one from the store, no dramas we know you are submitting it. Now there has been no sign of the paperwork arriiving and I sent an email asking if this was normal and again they've advised it can take a couple of weeks and to write again if the status does not change in a a week. Very accomodating. |

umm guys are we missing something here ?
Just opened my HD-EP10 box and the redemption form says the promotion expires on the 30/9/07 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Checked on the website, and it's saying the same thing, even though they have a banner ad showing the free HD DVD offer. Has anyone submitted a claim since the beginning of October and had it accepted ? |

Actually I didn't even check the finish date when I lodged my redemption. Both went through and I received an email stating that my claim had been successfully submitted. Now all I have to do is wait!

It will be interesting to see what happens to the those wishing to redeem titles after 30/10/07. Clive Peters Rwoodhad stacks of the players on the floor and I doubt they'll all be sold by month's end. Inside the box is a HDdvd title and a remption form for 4 others.
