Is it just me or did someone else think that "Hanna" was pretty much "The Bourne Daughter" ? Not worth $10.66 IMO.

DVD downunder is closing. They don't appear to have a lot left in stock but what is there is all ten bucks or so.

Mighty Ape AUS have Transformers Triple Play (Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy) for $15.00 + post, making it around $20 posted, which is the cheapest I've scene, on sale until 10AM tomorrow.

They also have 3D/2D/DVD/Digital Copy versions of Thor and Captain America for $28.99 each + post and the non 3D versions for $19.99 each + post.

Postage is about $4.90 per order, if you ship them in one go.

Prices are similar on their NZ site.

Pretty decent prices, cheapest I've scene so far for 3D supersets.

Looks like they're discounting them in the lead up to the Avengers coming out later this month. Maybe JB HiFi will follow suite (hopefully)

gone (and grabbed earlier today).   Gee.... I'm feeling a bit 'dirty' that I even bought this - granted that the word 'bargain' isn't used that often locally at the moment  :)

Yes - CDWow (now WowHD) stopped with DVDs/Blu a while back - thought the UK part of CDWow still sold them.    Granted - why they would go back to selling DVDs again ...... the 'market' is changing and there are less people caring to buy titles at the fewwer stores selling these products.

(* for those whom want to argue my last point - check out the bargains on here / the lack of sales / and lack of interest in forums like this)

Hence prices rising given no real competition anymore.

But there are fewer releases that interest me anymore. Lets face it, I'm not a 3D-disney-bieber-twilight-wwe fanboy. I'm sick and tired of garbage releases & crap sales, give me a cup of coke and a dark shadows DVD and i'll be set for months.

Australian Release Dates suck as well. Getting The Muppets on Bluray 6 months later, getting Chronicle a month later (even though it came out in cinemas before US), no planned release on 50/50....we continuesly get things slow and half-assed here.

Big W has a few titles in BOGOF. Not sure if it's only online (was advertised on TV).
The ones I can recall are -
Transformers 3
Paranormal Activity 3
Kung Fu Panda 2
Cowboys and Aliens
Super 8

Update : The Paramount BOGOF titles are also available in JB, Coles, Sanity and other stores. JB is asking for $39.99 (e.g when you buy Transformers 3 and Kung Fu Panda 2 in one transaction) compared to Big W's $32.82 for those two movies.

Was in Coles yesterday. Noticed the price of the B1G1F blu-ray titles ranged from $28-$38 depending on the title. They were advertised as buy two titles and get the cheapest one free. Assuming you pick two titles at different prices.

Just picked up Conan the Barbarian (original) and Conan the Destroyer in a neat double-pack for $19.78 from Big W. They are the same BD-50 discs as the single releases, in a double disc case. JB doesn't stock this double edition and the movies separately are $15.95 each.
