Last day today for the BigW 30% off Blu sale.

I popped in there this morning for a last minute purchase of the Stargate Atlantis Complete Series box-set.
I figure $117* for over 75 hours of viewing isn't bad value, esspecially as I haven't seen anything after the second series yet.....

* Actually cheaper than importing from Amazon UK for once too!

pity their online store is full of cr@p titles and not their full catalogue ... I can;t recall the last time I actually found anything I was after at Big W (B&M and Online) - bloody hopeless mess!

I picked up a whole stack too. Best bargain was my CONTACT upgrade for $6.21.

Also scored Sergio Leone's DOLLARS trilogy for $20+ pesos among others (only owned TGTBATU). I agree that Big W's Blu-ray shelves are freakin' horrible to sort through.

Am keen to see if Studio Canal's SOLDIER BLUE transfer trumps the already excellent R2 DVD.

Its the Immaculate Edition so i am guessing the PQ will be IMMACULATE!

Holy Grail isn't out until March. Life of Brian is amazing though.

I'd highly recommend Gattaca sight unseen. Great film. $8 is a steal.

3:10 To Yuma is still scanning at $13 ay my local...

For those interested, JB Hi-Fi are selling the Boardwalk Empire BD for $26.98. It was in today's Herald Sun but I am not sure how long this is for. I assume it will last until Sunday but you best check to be sure.
