one thing wiht the belcanto stuff it always looks very well made. prefer the styling of the current range over the previous. yeah worth a shot asking dlite, if he has one I'm sure he wont have qualms in you demoing.

Hi guys,
I believe the Belcanto CD2's have landed in the country, and i hope to get my hands on some soon.

However, Pat O'Brien the importer has sadly had a death in the family and he is having some time away from the business, so I am not sure when I will be able to get hold of one.

The Bel Canto gear is always very well made and sturdy, their support via their US web site is top notch, with their designer John Stronzer answering many questions personally and promptly. A level of service I have not found from many top of the line manfacturers like Musical Fidelity, Gryphon and Theta.

Australian RRP has yet to be set for the CD2, but expect it will be between $4000 and $5000.

If interest is serious I will be happy to get a unit sent to you when available. Also happy to supply other toys for your GTG's.

Michael

Michael,
thank you very much for the kind offer.
I would like to wait until i have finalised a final 2 or 3 players before jumping into home auditions.
Interest is definately series though as i am currently looking for a new cdp to replace my droplet

Nice piece John, the line out is a great feature from the point of view of eliminating a preamp from the equation.

Be interesting to know more about the Ultra-Clock circuit  -_-

Cheers,
