Region A - US, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea as at 5 February 2009

Region B - Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and other European Countries as at 7 September 2008 - see post 2

Notes:

The Blu-ray formats has done away with NTSC and PAL and will work on all television sets with Composite, S-Video, Component or HDMI Inputs. Television sets with DVI inputs will also display the formats through a HDMI-DVI cable providing the Television is HDCP enabled. Please note that full 1080p is only available via HDMI. Component is limited to a max resolution of 1080i and composite and S-Video will be limited to DVD resolutions.

The Blu-ray format DOES implement Region Coding. This is a compiled list of titles status. Unfortunately studios do not publish this information so the list only includes those titles where users have confirmed the regional coding status with actual discs. Any contributions of missing titles would be gratefully appreciated by the community.

Unfortunately packaging and online store information such as that on amazon.com can be incorrect. Therefore *NO* titles will be added to the list based on the region code found on the box. Likewise *NO* title will be added from an online store listing unless they confirm they have actually tested the disc (like movietyme does).

Please note that this list is not affiliated with any sites selling Blu-ray discs and does not link to any online stores for purchase (and therefore kickback). The information presented here is 100% non profit for the benefit of members.

Your Red Titles are confirmed as being locked to the region of origin This red has the number during edition of #FF0000, the colour used by Momaw does not show up in red at all. It looks like dark purple.

A more foolproof opion is to either change the font or the size of the font.
