gar! you should have asked earlier in the year. i couldnt flog these off for $40 in the end (paid $50 each for several of them imported).

edit: your kidding about Inception right? HD-DVDs stopped being produced (in the mainstream) in 08?

Hi looking at selling my HD DVD collection.
wanting $5 per movies and $100 for the HD-E1 player.
Plus if all as a package will add xbox 360 HD DVD add on and HDMI lead.

Crikey after all these years I cannot believe this thread is still going, I still enjoy watching my HD-DVD titles.

theres a certain pureness when you fire up a solid piece of hardware like an anodised black satin XE-1 and then see that familar HD DVD logo come up, especially on  the Paramount and Universal titles with almost a historic essence that can only now be described as esoteric retro

changing the default Spanish soundtrack on UNDERWORLD Spanish import to English knowing it was always the best transfer, cracking open Planet Earth out of a scarlet red cover and smirking that the entire series  cost less than $20 from some book store who's name escapes me now, makes you think you dont  just have another obsolete format sitting on your shelves, but a piece of history

the memories of rushing from one Ezy Dvd store to another across town on your employer's time and petrol just to complete collections or to return Alice Coopers Montreaux to JB HiFi on the grounds of how horrible high definition can make some experiences and the guy laughing as he accepted an opened movie title and handed out a refund,  isnt something that will be repeated in this lifetime.

Yes it is a pity you cannot buy new titles.......collection has been pretty static now for over 2 years.....

On the bright side I am building up a nice Blu ray collection.....and I see Sony are going to discontinue production!!!!
