Just noticed Samsung Australia have the new F series up on there website, RRP is $5499, same as the Sony.

Appears as though the M series carries the new 100hz technology, be interesting to see when they're released.

Hope these will be cheaper than the bravia X series and hopefully just as good, because the R series are generally cheaper than equivalent bravia's no?

The R Series are cheaper, but having just had two dud R series, I think I'd spend the extra on the Sony...

The M61s on Samsung's site are the predecessor to the R series, not the 100Hz model, which is the M73 series.

Also, no DTV tuner, which for a telly costing over $5k is a disgrace in this day and age...

Hence, the Sony still appears to be better value...

Way too expensive and it still has this "Fault" according to the manual:-

HDMI/DVI does not support PC function.
